Privacy Policy
This policy covers the information this website collects, what it is used for, and what you can ask us to do with it. In this policy, "we" and "us" means EV Charger Installation Gold Coast. Chargers are installed by Envision Solar and Electrical Pty Ltd (trading as Envision Energised), ABN 29 667 415 698, Queensland Electrical Contractor Licence 91381.

What we collect
Only what you enter in the enquiry form or send us by email: your name, your email address, your phone number and your suburb, plus what you tell us about the job, such as whether it is for a home or a business and which services you are interested in.
The form does not ask for your date of birth, your payment details or any identity document. We do not collect sensitive information, which the Privacy Act defines as things like your health, religion, political views or criminal record, so please do not send it to us.
Why we collect it
To get back to you about the job you have described, and to pass your enquiry to the installer, who works out the price and carries out the installation if you go ahead.
Your details do not go onto a marketing list and we do not send unsolicited email.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry goes to the installer, Envision Solar and Electrical Pty Ltd, who quotes and carries out the work. They use your details to contact you about your job, and once you deal with them directly their own privacy policy applies to what they hold.
Each enquiry is emailed to us and added to the system we use to manage enquiries. A copy is also kept with a database provider, so it is not lost if an email fails. Those providers, and the company that hosts this site, hold your enquiry only to provide that service, and some of them store data outside Australia, including in the United States.
If the job goes ahead, a few others see only what they need. Energex, the company that runs the power network on the Gold Coast, sees it when your charger needs its approval to connect. The charger's manufacturer sees it if a warranty claim is made.
We do not sell your information and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not turn into a job, we keep it only while it is worth following up, and we delete it straight away if you ask.
Where a job goes ahead, the installer keeps its own records of the work for as long as electrical safety and tax law require.
How it is held
Enquiries travel over an encrypted connection and are held in accounts that need a password to open.
No website or email account can be made completely secure. If your information is ever exposed in a way that could seriously harm you, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Seeing it, fixing it, deleting it
Email us and ask. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and there is no charge for asking.
If we cannot do what you have asked, we will tell you why.
The law we follow
We handle your information under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and give us a chance to fix it. If that does not resolve it, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner takes complaints at oaic.gov.au.
