Who Does the Work on Your Job
Every installation we do is carried out by a licensed Queensland electrical contractor, licence 91381. That is not a formality. An EV charger is a dedicated high current circuit that runs for hours at a time, and the work has to be done, tested and certified by someone licensed to do it.
We have crews at both ends of the coast and the business is based at Ormeau, so a job at Coolangatta and a job at Pimpama are both covered by someone who was already nearby. It is the reason we can look at a meter box before we quote.
We hold current certification from Tesla and from Sigenergy, which matters on those two brands specifically: a Tesla Wall Connector has to be commissioned by a certified installer for the warranty to stand, and a Sigenergy install that ties into a battery system is a different job from hanging a charger on a wall.
A charger is a dedicated high current circuit, not an appliance you plug in.

We Read the Meter Box Before We Price the Job
Most of what makes one charger install cost more than another is decided before anyone touches a charger. These are the four things we check, and we check them first.

What your supply actually is
Single phase or three phase, and what spare capacity the board has. It sets your maximum charge rate and it is written on your meter box, so there is no reason to guess at it.

Where the car parks and where the board is
The distance between those two points is the cable run, and the cable run is usually the largest single variable in the price.

What else the property is running
Solar, a battery, ducted air conditioning or a pool all draw on the same supply. If any of them are there, or are coming, the charger has to be planned around them.

What your network needs approved
Larger installs need your distributor's approval, and some need a relay so the network can shed load at peak. We lodge that for you.
The quote you get includes the switchboard work. It is the thing that turns into a phone call on install day when it has not been looked at.

The battery standard. It applies whenever charging is tied into home storage, which is most Sigenergy work we do.

What We Do Differently to a General Electrician
Any licensed electrician can install a charger. These are the things that come from doing it every week.
We match the charger to the car you will own next
A charger outlasts a car. We fit units on the Type 2 standard so the next vehicle in the driveway still plugs in, and we tell you where your current car's own ceiling sits so you are not paying for output it cannot take.
We install solar, battery and charging as one system
The charger is usually not the only thing on the board. Where there is solar or storage, we set the charger to take surplus rather than compete with the house, which is the difference between charging on your own power and charging on the grid.
We handle the network paperwork
Approvals and load control requirements are part of the job on anything above a standard single phase install. Jobs do get refused for missing them, so we lodge them.
We come back
We service and repair every brand we install, including units we did not fit. A charger you cannot get anyone to look at in three years is a charger you have to replace.

The charger itself carries the manufacturer's own warranty. If a unit fails inside that period we diagnose it, document it the way the manufacturer requires, lodge the claim and install the replacement.
We install a range we know well rather than whatever is cheapest that month, and we are certified on Tesla and Sigenergy specifically.
If you have already bought a unit, tell us which one. We will say plainly whether we are happy to install it and commission it.
